XQS Zero

XQS Zero Flavors: Where Ice is King

XQS Virgin Peppermint Zero is the flagship taste profile in the XQS nicotine-free collection.

It's as punchy and sharp as could be expected from peppermint, while providing cooling and refreshing tones.

The high moisture levels add further to the potent effect, as they release flavor without the need for salivation.

XQS Zero: A Range with Swedish Flare

XQS isn’t the only nicotine-free product on the market, but it does have an edge that few other brands can claim. XQS is a Swedish company, launched in Jämtland by ex-smokers seeking an alternative to tobacco products.

While its original solution was the tobacco-free nicotine product XQS pouches, it has since taken the concept further by launching XQS Zero.

Another differentiator is that the brand has a longer history than most, dating back to 2005. That’s more than two decades to hone its formulations and flavors!

XQS has since been acquired by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group, STG, a highly experienced manufacturer in the space.

XQS Zero Vs Other Nicotine-Free Brands

XQS is unique in many ways, but it is also one of multiple brands to launch a zero-nicotine line.

Here’s how it compares with other big names in this segment:

• It uses a slim format. This is the most popular size in the category due to the comfort and discretion it offers. But some nicotine-free products come in a large size, such as Zeronito pouches.
• Moist contents. Unlike dry pouches, XQS Zero favors high moisture levels, giving the flavor extra intensity.
• Products are caffeine-free. We offer a selection of caffeine pouches on Snusdirect, and these are a major subcategory of the nicotine-free segment. But XQS Zero is a caffeine-free line.
• A focus on mint. While mint is a popular taste profile, not all brands go down this refreshing route. For instance, Onico snus focuses on emulating a snus-like flavor, it doesn’t use nicotine or tobacco.
